Pounds
One hundred and twenty six pounds I weigh.
Oh how tormenting to be such as me,
I feel as if my life is in the grey--
To be such as thee, one hundred and three...
One hundred and fifteen pounds I weigh now.
Tis not good enough, I say to myself.
And I know my morals have been plowed,
Though it is unstoppable, tis itself.
One hundred and ten pounds is what I weigh.
Constant, constant, constant--never ending.
I fear my discovery any day.
The times are blending, my life is blending.
Too late. My once innocent affliction,
Has become my relentless addiction.
