Blood rushing around
head pounding and the pencil-
scratches on and on.
Sip from the cold mug
and move on, cursing myself-
why didn't I do it?
Flashbacks to the fun
and partying, wishing to
return to that place.
Now full of regrets,
and far too tired out, eyes
shut. It's still not done.
