God has never taken care of me
In church, they say, obey your parents
I try
I stay home and only go to church
I tutor and come straight home
Only now, I'm detouring at the park
Only now, I'm talking to a boy
I haven't been cursing at them
Yelling? Nope
I want to, but I've been quiet
I stay silent and out of their sight
In church, they said if you obey your parents,
God will take care of you
How come He never took care of us?
