An Old Tale Made New

Beauty and the beast,
A tale so old,
A tale so well known.
Many can compare,
Few can ever relate.
But alas, I can do neither.
My love, girl of dreams,
And woman of perfection
Is not a beast,
Nor a helpless girl.
She is the one I care about,
Most of all.
I can see no other
In her place.
Without her, at the end of the tunnel,
There is no light.
Without her, in every cloud,
There is not a single silver lining.
She is everything to me,
She is my world.
And without her,
There is no I.
Without her,
There is no future.
