A long sigh,
A reason why.
Then I can find
some peace of mind.
The strength to stand.
The strength to smile.
Please take my hand,
And help this child.
Your child.

I really liked this poem! However, you lost me a bit at the end. Your child? I'm not sure who you're audience is anymore, but I love the random rhyming.
