White Wolf

On the shining night,
The stars were bright
I saw a great knight
And his armor was white
His eyes where a mystery
For at first I saw fury
Yet with his family
The light became friendly
With so much compassion
The pack has admiration
With his sense of wilderness
Wolf’s survival was a success
What human's knife or catapult
could break thy heart to a halt?
Hate that sowed the seed
of human ignorance and greed
Wolf wolf tossed outside
Having anything but pride
Now he’s fading fast
From the present to the past.
