Emerald
Her emerald eyes glinted playfully
A wicked smile crossing her lips
He obeyed her willfully
Watching her swaying hips
She danced away from him
He knew this was wrong
The lights started to dim
This won’t last long,
He spoke in his head
He had a horrible feeling
His body shook with dread
But he loved her, and almost believing
His own words, he killed him
His own best friend
Tears started to swim
In his vision. This was the end.
All she’d done was tell him to
And he’d complied,
Done what she’d wanted him to do
She’d lied.
