Today i made a god
in the image of man
sculpting blasphemous forms
with my vile right hand
with eyes of fire
and a heart of stone
his flesh became cold
so i made him a home
of cultivating lies
in the hearts of men
quickly spread to the head,
like a virus of sin.
blind convictions
bold contradictions,
unwilling to admit we're wrong
the way that we pray
prevents all empathy
eliminating sympathy
and lets us carry out our gods law.
