Being a student in 2024 is not the easiest. There is a lot of time that is lost due to school activities or working late nights like 4-12 and then having to get up to work at 9-7. This adds a lot of stress and time crunching. I wish I was able to go out with friends more, but everything that I have to do makes it so that I am unable to do the things that I love such as playing video games with my friends, airsofting with my friends, or even just hanging out with my friends. Throughout the school year, I have spent late nights with my friends, doing dumb things. Another is being able to camp with my friends all weekend at an airsoft event, go to a car show, or even go to Florida and meet my friend's family.   

This year since I switched jobs to Bar Louie, I don’t work as much during the week. So this gives me more time to catch up on school stuff or spend time with my friends and family. Although I work all weekend every weekend, I have still made time to go out airsofting with my friends and even camping on the airsoft field for events. I have made time to hang out with other friends and spend time with my family. Being a student in 2024 is completely different from what people think it is. From personal experience, many people think it’s just poor time management and lack of responsibility, but I can’t always keep up with everything and do not have time to get away from the stressful things in life.  I face challenges with keeping up in school and my social out-of-school life.
