Taylor Swift
                      Album Review
Reputation, Taylor Swift's new album was released August 23, 2017 it     was recorded at Big Machine Records. The album has topped the charts in     Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Scotland, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the
United States. Her music has become very popular over the years because of her many albums and songs. She is a very talented young singer who has definitely been going places in her life and will continue to do so.
Taylor swift grew up in Pennsylvania living with her parents at their christmas tree farm near Wyomissing, where she helped out in there family business. Taylors grandmother was a famous opera singer and taylor followed in her footsteps to become a singer herself. Taylor swift started her career in 2006, then in 2005 she was discovered by Scott Borchetta at the Nashville Bluebird Cafe and things took off from there. Taylor was 16 at the time of her first album release at Big Machine Records. She has been an ideal for many young girls and boys since she started singing her country love songs, and she still is, even though her style has completely changed, and she is definitely pushing her sweet good girl vibe away with this new album. Taylor's new album Reputation is pop music and the album includes “Ready for it”, “End Game”, “I Did Something Bad”, “Don't Blame Me”, “Delicate”, “Look What You Made Me Do” is one of her most popular songs on her album, “So It Goes”, “Gorgeous”, “Getaway Car”, “King Of My Heart”, “Dancing With Our Hands Tied”, “Dress”, “This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things”, “Call It What You Want”, “New Year's Day”,  New year's day is personally one of my favourites, I think it reminds me a lot of her old songs and it just has that old Taylor vibe which is not like her other songs in this album, and it stands out to me. These are the songs included in the reputation album the most ranked song that people have picked is “Look What You Made Me Do’’ and this was her opening song for the album, the song was about how the old taylor is “dead” meaning she is no longer her old self and she is a new person now as seen in the music video she said “sorry the old taylor can't come to the phone right now she's dead” and other scene she is killing another one of herself or she was crawling out of her on grave.
This album is very different from her previous country romance and break up songs all the way to this altho they still might be about her different relationships and her breaks up, the style is completely different and a lot more adult material.  Her first album was “Taylor Swift” which was a country album and she sang many albums that were in the country genre then after country she moved on to something that I feel in more day in age and she got into pop music, still kinda staying with her love song and break ups but so far her genre has changed tremendously and I feel she has too, it's almost like she just grew up which she kinda did.
I think Taylor Swift is a wonderful singer and songwriter I just feel like she has changed tremendously and to be honest I miss her country music  but don't get me wrong I do enjoy her new music, I think she put a lot of work into it and I think she is doing trumdisly well. Although all of her songs are very good my favorite would have to be “new year's day” it has a very chill calm vibe to it and it is a song I could listen to over again. Overall it's a wonderful album and she is definitely having a very successful overview on it.
Reputation definitely has its bulletproof hook and sticky corners and I think that's what made it such a hit. Taylor swift has definitely come a long way with her music and her hard work has paid off with writing all her own songs and becoming a very talented very successfully musician, and she does a good job at being a role model for millions of young girls and boys.
