I told her
Not to be afraid.
To take a few risks
Along the way.
Time and time again
I told her
To try.
To always give something
Her very very best.
Time and time again
I told her
To be kind.
To love others
And to be just.
Time and time again
I've told her
To do all these things.
And finally
She listened.
