Life without you

a broken road she walks along
used up and abused
through hell and high water
alone she is confused
feelings from yesterday
cloud my life today
to run is all i wish
to pass and look away
alone on this empty street
lying beneath the stars
i see that light
behind it i see cars.
the tears that
stain my face
to feel that
last embrace
none of which
have meaning now
just that ive
taken one final bow
