The Preferred Solution

Disrespected and feeling low,
deeply influenced,
hurt by what others do and what they say,
no longer will I ever be
happy, joyful, and confident,
I am
tortured by cruelty,
never again,
free.
Just like a child,
pointing out flaws,
picking on people,
don't have anything better to do;
The bullies
I realize
Confidence is quiet,
Insecure is loud.
I'm strong enough to win without the war
I can learn from it,
either you become just like them or you rise above,
take from this or let it break you,
The choice.
