Empty World
I feel the world around me expand and change,
But I remain motionless.
The emptiness in my mind starts to crumble to the nothingness in my soul.
The memories in my heart that I once treasured fade away to black, empty spaces.
Invisible to the world I remain,
Until the final moment,
When I inhale my last ounce of air.
My heart slows and my bones weaken,
Then I collapse to the earth floor, blending, becoming my surroundings.
