Alone

She stands there waiting
For her one true love
She looks out the window
To the night above
She wishes upon a star
To keep her tears from drowning her
To keep her blood from overflowing
She cries all day and night
Until she falls deep in slumber
She dreams and dreams
But nothing of wonder
She wakes to the blinding light of torture
Only to find herself drinking away twelve hours
She waits for her freedom to asunder
To escape her cage of damnation
She lets loose her long black hair
Untamed she falls into the abyss
Looking for her true independence
To escape her pain of loneliness
She still feels so alone
She feels so ignored
She feels their hate of who she is
Alone however surrounded by her darkness
Surrounded by the light of her la Luna
She then sees him
A tall dark figure
Her knight in black armor
Atop a dark wild horse
She called out to him
Too meet his deep ocean eyes
He takes her hand and pulls her closer
He dismounts down from his horse
And takes her lonely arms in his
And gives her his everlasting kiss
She comes up for air
Where love has finally found her
Now those wasted twelve hours
Have become nothing but lost memories

This poem started as a song. I started to sing some random things and then I fell in love with it. After putting it all together I wrote it down and kept singing untill it felt right. Mind you that my voice isn't that good!
