Lightless
I used to be so happy
I thought everyone would love me
But now I don't smile as much
And no one can really see
That I'm not the person I was before
I feel like I'll always be alone
When I turn the lights off in my room
I know it's not really my home
When I was younger, I was stronger
I had a brain ready to learn, a heart ready to beat
Now I'm older, I've learned better
And the only thing that keeps me going is my feet
I just hope I don't stay this way forever
Stuck inside what I've become
As for now, there's no light at the end of the tunnel
And it's been awhile since I've seen the sun
