About You
Clouds rolling lazily across the great blue sky,As I lay in the cool green grass on my back, Sweating, worrying, sighing. The wind whispers in my ear and pulls at my hair, like a child telling a sly secret and wanting to play. Sway, creak, blow, goes the trees over my head, being pushed and pulled and shoved by the bully called wind. Hurt, thump, break,Aches the heart in my chest as I think about what might have been. You had loved me and I you, Yet here I am under the tree, watching the clouds, wind pulling at me, sweating and crying and worrying and sighing, laying in the cool grass and thinking, About you.
