No More Tears
"I love you" He whispered in my ear, stealing the beat of my heart, his soft warm arms around me, squeezing my body tightly. Those words traveled through me, those three little words that made me want to kiss him.
"No you don't" I said briefly, freeing myself from his warmth, his wonderful scented cologne, and his words that gave me butterflies. I loosened from his arms, digging my hands into my face, hiding the tears from him.
“Babe" He said softly, trying to comfort me. He grabbed my arm, running his hand across my face. His eyes were a soft colored brown, staring into me, trying to see the reason for my actions. His thumb wiped away the last of my tears, assuring me there would be no more tears to be shed.
