Lunch
Tick-Tock
Tick-Tock
Lunch Rush is coming
Tick-Tock
Tick-Tock
The clock's noise
Embeded in my head
Draining out the teachers' lesson
Tick-Tock
Tick-Tock
Another second closer
Tick-Tock
Tick-Tock
Five seconds.
Five.....
Four....
Three...
Two..
One.
LUNCH!
We race out the door
clobbering anything in our way.
"Whats for lunch today?"
We sound like an annoying jungle bird
We are stampeeding elephants.
We are as foolish as a group of monkeys.
We chow on our food like a starving pack of wolves.
Lunch rush is over
We slowly walk back to class
No pushing
No shoving
Soft talk
The jungle is asleep.
